DNA Architects developed the designs for The Gate Hold Furniture Improvement Project at the former Terminal D of LaGuardia International Airport which included over 17,000 square feet of phasing while Delta Air Lines operated during construction. By working with various external teams and the client, DNA was able to successfully help develop and execute this project with the goal of accommodating travelers further, and enhancing their travel experience by offering unique technology experience with various types of iPad-equipped seating, allowing travelers to check their flight status, order food and beverages, and convenient internet browsing. This project provided a facelift to the area and set a new standard for modern airport facilities and accommodations.
