In collaboration with Milk Bar, DNA designed and developed Milk Bar’s Washington, DC flagship location in Logan Circle transforming what was once a mechanic shop into a 2,383 square-foot space that embodies Milk Bar’s playful aesthetic and reflects it’s innovative approach to desserts. DNA, as both the designer and AOR, worked to bring together the unique qualities of both the neighborhood and the existing building, while delivering a space that reflects Milk Bar in its design. The location also features a walk-up window and outdoor patio which allows guests to sit down, relax, and enjoy Milk Bar’s successful operation: their baked goods. As well the space includes a classroom per Milk Bar’s educational programs offered to the community.
