DNA Architects showcased their expertise in design collaboration & development, planning a unique honeycomb structure and construction for the client bringing Caps Beer Garden to life. This 2,158 square foot structure achieves the goal of providing a “dining oasis” experience. Inspired by an Asian beer garden, this structure features fluid lines, making a honeycomb shaped ‘ceiling’ capturing the attention of those walking by. The modern, interactive dining experience includes charging stations and iPads at each seat for added convenience. Notably, the curved surface of the bar die is finished off with 27,180 pressed bottle caps, while the overhead ceiling structure boasts 2,805 unique honeycomb cells of varying depths, generated using parametric modeling. These architectural elements and meticulous details culminate in a unique project execution enjoyed by travelers.
